Media day at CIAS
On Thursday, February 16th Statsauto reported live from the Canadian International Auto Show for media day! Media day is the day before the official opening of the CIAS where manufacturers showcase and unveil new concepts & new cars.
Some highlights:
- 41 cars made make their Canadian debut
- 1,000+ cars were be showcased
- AJAC car of the year award & Utility car of the year award
- Car of the year - VW Alltrack
- Utility car of the year - Subaru Outback
- Electric Avenue - an initiative with the government of Ontario regarding the future of electric vehicles
- Art and the Automobile - a showcase of some of the rarest cars in the world
